I'll be getting an HTC One in a couple of weeks. HTC is giving me a $100 credit for my old HTC Inspire. That's a pretty good deal since I only paid $40 for it. That means the One is only going to cost me $99.
Nice, you will have to report back on your experience. I hope it lives up to the glowing reviews!
Never used any Sony Mobile devices but when it comes to TV's that's all I buy.

That one thing that WP does is that it has everything already tied into the phone if you ever lost it or anything you can already track it wipe it so forth for free etc. But that being said I would have ways to get the device wiped by Exchange and I would use the Lookout App which seems to do well.
Exchange wiping phones has been on Android for at least a couple of years. That's as far back as I go with an Android phone on exchange. Before that it was Blackberry. So already your first statement is dubious at best.
Is the customer going to call google, or will they call the carrier? How would one prove to Google vs. say a carrier that they are the bona fide owner of the phone in question?
