Sad really. That girl needs mental help. She was coming apart at the seams at the US Open. Fortunately with Justine Henin coming back, and Kim Clijsters already back, the Williams sisters will have some real competition and women's tennis won't have imposters ranked #1.

And see Sabres? I wasn't the only one questioning Safina's ranking. It's pretty crazy that she kept the top ranking after flaming out at the US Open. The fact that she stayed number one until losing to a wildcard is an indictment on the ranking system as much as it is on Safina. Kim Clijsters come out of retirement and wins the US Open and gets fewer points than had she just done well at few regular tour events. That's not right.
