Why is it that my Pansat 2700a frequently misses TPs I know are there? Things like KCSG on TP11 on G25? Why should I need to manually enter it? Is there a way to help it find TPs? It defeats the purpose of a blind scan feature.

KCSG has a low symbol rate and it seems like anyhting below 2000 is a bugger for the Pansats. My 1500 hits that TP on a blind scan probably once every 3 times

That's why its called Blind Scan, Its Blind!

Does the blind search not pick up the transponder or not pick up the channels.

If it does not pick up the transponders that could be since the Pansats RF narrow bandwidth section might be thinking it is noise instead of a signal.

If it does not pick up the channel information that could be due to the timing of the SDT, PMT, PAT data is sent so it does not pick up the Pids.

My pansat 2800a does the same thing.
