Another question regarding vga and the 360

My HDTV's native resolution is 1366x768. When I have it connected to my 360 the best res I can get via VGA is 1360x768 as 1080p doesn't work on my TV (although 1080i does work via component).

Should I leave it set at the tv's native resolution or should I use 1280x720 (720p)?

I watched The Fifth Element, as well as played the PGR 4 & VF5 demos, while having it set at 1360x768, and they all looked really good.

I guess what your saying is that it ends up being a matter of personal preference rather than a straight right or wrong answer.

Thanks for your advice. :)

I'd do 720p with the TV set at 'normal ratio' or whatever it is that just takes the source and displays it. As a result, the 360 won't be converting anything, and your TV wont be stretching/adapting the image. Should lead to the clearest picture.

Maybe someone else can explain my thought better, kinda early.
