Update- While I have no intention of buying a PS5 for myself. I just bought a PS5 upgrade for my grandsons. But two weeks ago I gave them my old Quest 2 and 1 and now they are spoiled playing in VR. Today, I visited and they were broadcasting their Oculus game play to the living room TV screen.
As far as game consoles The new Meta Quest 3 will soon be able to play games from the XBOX and there is a rumor that Meta is planning to offer the same for the PS5. I hope it happens but if not they may be in for another HMD for it as there is a PSVR that is supposed to work with the PS5.
