to having an H21/22/23 over the H20? I know the H20 has an OTA module built in, but I kinda feel like it isn't fair that I pay $99 for each receiver and get the oldest possible model and its a refurb(H20-100).

If you want to do anything where you connect the recr's thru the internet for MRV or On demand stuff you need the newer units.
If you need the OTA connections like I do, stick with the H20 series or get the newer ones and add a AM 21 to it for the OTA set up (it's a separate box and D* wants $ 50 for it.)

If I call D* and complain, would they mail me H23s?

Newer technology.
fwiw, I've been using H and HR20's for many years now without any real trouble ....
I just can't do the MRV with it that I'd like to.

I would rather have my OTA tuner integrated over getting 2 new pieces to do the same thing.
