Can anyone tell me if you have any sports hd dvd? Particularly recent football games or basketball games. Do they even make them of sporting events? If so, how is the pq compared to other hd dvds? how does it compare to network programming? If they do make any would you please post a link. I would really like to see a crystal clear sporting event that way.

I don't think a single HD DVD with such content was published.
Concerts (e.g. Nine Inch Nails) is the only non-movie material I know...

Diogen.

Thanks. That is a shame. Could be a big money maker for someone.:)

The Eagles Farewell Tour is ava on HD DVD(I have)... I agree though, The NFL should put out at Least the Super Bowl's in HD and MLB could put out the World Series...

:up

Since nearly all NFL games are now broadcast in HD, not having HD versions of the NFL films DVD's is a joke at this point.

And the ones not HD on TV are filmed by NFL Films so could be converted... I'd like to see Full versions of the game, not quite as edited as NFL Replay...

That is exactly what I am looking for. It is surprising that no one has done this yet. I would say at least most people (men) got their hdtv to watch sports. It seems like a good fit to me.

I own a snowboarding HD-DVD called "Picture This." It's a combo as well. The PQ is soft like the stuff on Rush HD. There's no macroblocking or pixelation. I've only seen that on one porn HD-DVD.

You can also purchase the World Cup final on HD-DVD. It's not real American football, but it is a sport.

I'm sure HDNet will put out a few Friday night fights sooner or later. They have a Caribbean workout disc available on Amazon.
