Any Update on New DVR?

VideoReDO is the software they are recommending, and if I remember correctly... including a trial version with the receiver.

approx. 1 GB per 1/2 hour... Brian, what is the current limit? You told me, but I did not write it down where I can find it. (I should have had my notebook in my hand instead of writing it down later. My brain is getting full!)
Also, what is the name of (one of) the program(s) that converts the files and saves them so they can be burned to DVD?

The receiver description refers to a 500GB USB drive. I've been wondering whether this was a sample figure or a maximum figure... After doing a little price-checking it seems 500GB is still the best bang-for-buck capacity, but larger drives are getting more affordable!

The current firmware supports a maximum 500GB USB 2.0 drive.

VideoReDo will be included as a trial version shortly. Currently a trial version can be downloaded from the VideoReDo website.
