Right now they have SciFiHD, USAHD and a handful of testHD channels uplinked. If they truly are planning to launch a large group of HD channels at once they have to uplink and test them first.

Lots of people are ticked this week because SciFi and USA were not made available. Personally, I'm more ticked that additonal HD channels were not uplinked.

it's a calm, that's for sure. I have no confidence there will ever be another storm.

i've seen charlie run this company for a while. he seems to do nothing except pop up every once in a while to determine that things aren't working they way they should and say that he's going to give it personal attention. then he must go back to practicing his damn-i'm-bored look for the next televised chat.

so we'll probably get something one of these days, just enough so they don't look too stupid continuing to claim to be 'the leader'.

I think it is Charlie's Big Band Theory, he wants to put a bunch of new HD (10 or 12) at once to make a big splash, and I think he will wait until he can do that, and won't do 1 or 2 at a time. He wants to get the press to pick up on Dish's big HD explosion so he can save on having to advertise. That is my theory and I am sticking to it. The problem is when will the Big Band happen? Yea I know SOON!!!!!

I think Dish has many HD channels uplinked but they are not posting them because they don't want the competition to see what they are up to. One morning we will wake up and SOON will arrive. Not just 1 or 2 HD channels but a cluster of them to quiet the critics. You must remember that Dish has more satellite up than Directv. When the new 1000.4 dish is released next month, we will all say WOW!!!!!! Echostar 4 is almost ready to be released and put into service. Also, a source has told me that Dish is working on a 5 to 4 switch DPP 54, that does not use an inverter. Time will TELL......

The competiton IS watching them. Probably telling their CSRs not to take any days off May 1-7.

My Patience is ending SOON. Currently I have the Everything Package, Supers, Dish Ultimate HD, NHL Center Ice, and Locals in SD mostly for EPG data. I've been hanging on since the end of September. Even back then we kept on getting rumors of more HD coming SOON, just wait a couple weeks, Lots coming in October, we might see some additions for CES, USA HD, ScifiHD coming by the end of February, Lots of additions in April, really its almost the middle of April and NO MORE HD. ETC. I'm Paying over 140 bucks a MONTH.

SOON I WON'T be a Dish HD subscriber. Dish doesn't have a number of HD chanels I want as well as MSG HD, whom has the rights to 5 different Pro Teams. HEY DISH the clock is ticking. That Alarm is going off SOON. Is Dish getting any new HD subs at all anymore?

I might be gone even if Dish Does add more HD..... I"M PISSED. Hell, I even got 5 new customers for DISH HD.
