Anybody Heard?

What happened to the 61.5 service on Saturday? I was just curious. We were heading out for last minute shopping and it was back on by the time we got home. It was interesting, seemed like both downleg & upleg were lost, (I'm guessing that's where Dish gets the Voom channels from) since 129 lost only the Voom & not the new Discovery Suite.

It was, I think, right around noon time. there was a big thread on here, & everyone noted when it came back up, but no idea as to why it happened.

This is what digiblur said in the uplink discussion post when someone asked about the outage.

"The issue was on the ground, nothing was wrong with the signals being sent from the ground to your dish except they were "empty" signals."
