Looks like an old gasfet unit with the waveguide filter. What brand? who knows if no label or markings are on it. If its a gasfet no way it's 15k. I'm not sure if any HEMT's used the filter or not.

Nothing odd about it. Before they started cost cutting, all LNB's had a waveguide filter to keep the freq tuned from 3.7- 4.2 GHZ. This actually is an excellent feature since it prevents out of band TI from being received in the waveguide. I have and old 55 degree gasfet in the box here with that exact same filter.
