This site has been around for awhile and has been used to lobby against multiple practices.
The lastest is reverse carry fees. The network is now demanding a percentage of the fees local broadcasters are receiving from cable and satellite services for rebroadcast. This will have the effect of local broadcasters demanding higher fees from the cable company which will have an impact on cable rates.
It also has an effect on OTA because the broadcasters are becoming less concerned with serving their DMA with a usable OTA signal. OTA costs them money and doesn't generate direct income.
