This was not true of AT&T when Verizon announced this. Not sure if the policy has changed in recent months, but I do not believe you lose unlimited by getting a new subsidized phone on AT&T.

Sent from my iPhone using SatelliteGuys

That's a nice bonus for AT&T customers. As much as I liked the security of unlimited data on Verizon I wasn't willing to pay over $700 for my 32GB iPhone 5.

My wife kept her unlimited data plan with AT&T when she went from 4 to 5 just paying the normal upgrade price. I haven't seen anything to indicate that will change.

I'm only semi-interested in today's announcement. I'm not interested in upgrading my 5 at this point but I will install iOS 7 when available. Now ipads are a different story. I've got a 2 and my wife has a 3. We will replace both when the new ones arrive.
