Are Japanese pitchers worth all the money

Every year there are lots of hype around them only to get disappointed that they are just average compare to the Aces American pitchers. Why pay all that money for average players?

Tanaka is a 3rd or 4th pitcher not an Ace as he was hyped to be. The same as the others.

Red Sox had won that led them to a championship a few years ago. I dont think its fair to lump them in a group. All pitchers are different regardless of ethnicity.

Brien Taylor. He wasn't a bust, his shoulder was after he got into a fight in a bar. IIRC anyways.
