I was reading up a bit on c-band satellites, and found the site of a company called Rainier that sells satellite equipment, as well as channel packages. Are there other companies like this - old school or otherwise independent regional companies selling satellite TV packages, outside of DirecTV and Dish? Specifically curious about the Bay Area (California), but any info is helpful. Google and other search engines lead again and again to the standard options. Gracias.

No, Rainier is it, but if you are smart, you'll stay far away from that guy. You'll likely be sorry if you ever have to actually deal with him.
