Asiasat 5 or Vinasat 1 in North America?

It seems that I need a C-band dish to get these satellites? KU band is no go?

Yes it's C band and your dish will need to be on a 20000 mile tall pole.

Those satellites are below the horizon here in North America.. If you live in Hawaii, you might have a chance, but not on the mainland.
