Asterisk's on Winegard SK3005?

I installed the Winegard Traveler SK3005 today in my RV.When i ran the test and it came up *101*110 119 with no asterisk.Is this going to effect my signal?Still waiting for a couple of things to come so i can hook it up to the receiver and try it out.Thanks Jim

What receiver are you going to use?
What dish did you set up for the receiver?
What did the test show for 99 and 103?

I believe that means it is getting 101 and 110 and not 119... 119 could be blocked. It can't detect the 99 and 103 but if you are getting 101 you will get the HD and everything should work fine.

If u didnt repeat sat setup and select slimline 5 with multiswitch you will not have hd. You have to have the b band converter installed also. I put one up last week in place of the tracvision r5sl dome. Let me know if u need more help!

How would he get HD? 101 is SD, 99 and 103 are HD

Yep thats why he needs b band. The wingard doesnt come outta the box swm. You can convert it to swm with a swm 8 and a lnb.

The B band converters will be here today then will see what i get.Right now using the slimline with swm on a post.Will let you all no how it works out.Thanks Jim

Well things didn't work out so good.I think the one or both the b band converters are bad.Going to pick up two from the DTV guy and try again.
