You could have something in a cev that could be fed by fiber too...like dsl does

Sure, its fiber to the CEV and Copper to the home from there, unless your lucky enough now to be in a Fiber area.
 
Librarys and PORN were the first customers...more businesses....old frame relay and SMDS...maybe ATM...it was around

Thats would be like them ...
They are notorious for starting something and then dropping out of it half way thru.

Of course...thats how they do things....bell atlantic had a small fiber to the home project in 1994...did tv, internet and phone...they had VOD...someone sitting in the CO popping in video tapes when a customer requested a movie...they stopped..went to wireless 3g...stopped..went to fios..stopped..tried 4g wireless to the home and failed..now on 5g wireless....waiting for 6g

So it sounds like ATT doesn't think all of its TV products and Home Phone aren't profitable, just 5g? This is why they want to sell them off and really streamline?
