a new feature at http://watchafl.afl.com.au/ this season is the watch 24/7 station. was able to watch some showings of older games there and other Footy talking heads shows. nice

Problem is you gotta pay extra for Fox Soccer Plus. (which I'm too cheap to pay but that's just me.) I think Fox Sports 2 is also suppose to show some regular season games this year but they didn't say which ones yet.

$ true .........but $100 (6.5 months x$15)for the season not bad. less $ than going to a couple of games and it's a long drive from my house LOL.

hoping fox 2 has games not on FSP. like last year but more of them. have to wait and see. if not i'll buy the afl tv for a few months. FSP has all the September playoff games, that month cheap for $15.

Andrew Demetriou to step down as chief executive of the AFL at end of season

after 11 seasons in charge, with Gillon McLachlan his likely replacement.

Demetriou’s resignation was confirmed by AFL Commission Chairman Mike Fitzpatrick in a press conference this morning attended by Demetriou’s family and more than 200 AFL staff members.

“I advised Mike officially when we were both over at the Super Bowl that I intended to announce my resignation in early March,” Demetriou told the assembled media at AFL House.
