WEC at COTA dealing with rain... and a failure in communication which led to pace car heading into pit... then with a bunch of cars, and others kind of just doing their own thing. Currently Alpine is in first as a result. Rain is letting up, but might be coming back very shortly.

Ferrari has been killing the WEC series this year.

Nice seats! Too bad about the FP2 infrastructure failures Thursday night. After 2023 you would have thought they would have every manhole cover welded/bolted down.

With your Williams Team connections, did you get a chance to look over the Las Vegas 2025 livery up close? Is it painted black or carbon fiber black?

Looked pretty black to me at the fan zone, and shiny, so painted? Not sure really. Also not sure if their display car is different materials or not.

I got to use these nice simulators they had setup, not sure ill be able to use my standard wheel setup at home again until I spring for one of these seats, they made all the difference and were pretty amazing... but $$$. Going to start watching for a deal on FB marketplace or something, lol.

There's a contest to win one, they're $4500 setups.

I'm pretty broken today, lol. Put 16k steps in Keen sandals, as my current sneakers are tight and ruined my feet at my last convention I went to and hadn't gotten around to getting a new pair (I've been wearing sandals since COVID basically).

Probably not attending anymore events this weekend (unless I get another call from Williams because my name was pulled again? lol), but will be planning on going next season.
