Auto tune not working

I have the dish hopper with sling. I have two Joey's connected to this hopper. I have multiple auto tunes set up on both Joey's. These auto tunes have worked successfully in the past by waking up the Joey and tuning to the chosen channel. However, now, the Joey's are not waking up, and the auto tune listing is showing as completed successfully.

This is maddening!!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you setting the timer on THE Joey you want to auto tune?

Yes.

Additionally, this all seemed to stop working about a month ago. If the Joey is awake, the timer works. I have deleted and re-added the timers.

I have seen this same report in a different thread. You are not alone.

Posted this a few weeks back. Never resolved. You are not alone (or crazy). Worked for years and suddenly stopped. Dish is clueless about it.

Deleting then re-setting timers worked for me.

I'm guessing some software updated has created this problem. I've deleted and readded the timers 2x. Not gonna do that again.

I'm also assuming the dish people have notified about this problem and they are diligently trying to resolve it..

Was really hoping for a solution….

My dish hopper 3 with no joeys lost its autotune several months ago. Tried power off one minute, no go. Tried unplugged power cable 20 minutes, nix. Download of software and program info, still zip. Factory reset? What happens to timers and recordings in the hopper 3 and when that is done?

Have you tried it recently? I started a separate post back in March and commented on this one that it wasn't working on my Joey. It started working again about 3 months ago out of the blue. I meant to post that here and forgot. Had I not left everything setup when it stopped working I would never have known. Strange thing is I didn't see any updates on the Hopper or Joey around the time it started working again.

So much for the Dish rep. who told me the Joey was never able to do that.
