Hi like to lose the band converter on all my receivers. This is what i have ( slim line dish with 4 cables coming to my house with a multi switch, HR 20-700,(2) HR20-100 AND(2) HR24-500. Can i put in a (SWM muliti switch) and nothing else.

If I added it up correctly you would need a SWiM 16. Your best bet if you don't have MRV yet and want it is to have Directv come out and install the MRV solution for you. Would save you quite a bit of money.

SWM only needs one line per receiver (from what I read) so a SWM8 would work

Each DVR takes up 2 tuners on a SWiM switch even though you use a single cable. 4 DVR's is the max for a SWiM 8 switch.

Ok can i use just the swm multi switch 8. I have 3DVR AND 2 Receivers. There is 4 in puts on it.

That would be 8 tuners, so yes.

Your first post makes it look like you have 5 DVR's. You used (2) in front of two of the DVR's so it looked like it was a QTY of 2 for those models.
