I'll have to keep an eye on Fry's, though... if they do the 1/2 off again (what they normally do when there's a BOGO), I might have to finally pick up Casino Royale.

If that is the case they are going to have to do alot better. Except for Casino and The Pursuit of Happiness (Will got an Oscar nod for this one) are worth a purchase. Sony needs to up the ante if they are trying to get more dollars out of me right now. Warner is getting most of my BD XMAS dollars -- sorry Sony!

Casino Royale is a good movie, The Pursuit of Happiness another superb movie.
My money is going to Superbad and PoC3 when the new batch comes out.

Took advantage of this tonight. Picked up Ghost Rider and Casino Royale. Normally I wouldn't have bought but decided since I have yet to own any Blue Ray DVDs I should have something in the house besides rentals. I'm not much for buying movies, prefer to rent.


Complaint- Why are some BluRay DVDs in small boxes while others are in large? Makes it awkward shelving them.

Not sure what you mean - every one I've ever seen is the same size, unless it's a multi-disc box set which is thicker, obviously, because it has more discs in it... got any examples?

Well, the BD marketing machine did it's job on me again... HD-DVD collection still stuck on 2 - one of which is a stocking stuffer and hasn't been opened yet (although I did ask for a couple of sets for Christmas) - but I just ordered 5 BD's from Amazon, one normal price (High School Musical 2 for my daughters' Christmas) and four (2 for the wife's stocking and 2 for me - "I got them for free when I ordered yours, honey" ) with the BOGO.

Don, can you elaborate on the 2 box sizes? I have a decent collection of HD-DVD and BD and all the cases are the same size
