Better picture- TBS on Dish or HBO Max streaming for Final Four

Probably a stupid question, but this is the first Final Four to be broadcast in HDR. I'm assuming the picture on HBO Max streaming will be better than DISH TBS channel?

HBO comes and goes in our house. Right now, we're watching the Pitt and a few other shows, so it lines up with our Michigan basketball viewing. The picture was much better, which I'm assuming is the compression on DISH and the HDR on HBO?

Oh gosh yes!

Especially since DISH doesn't use 24-bit color. If anyone is wondering why dark scenes tend to look like dithering is disabled, that's one reason why.

Another thing is the Dish picture on TBS is 1080I while HBO/Max is 1080P along with HDR.

HBO/Max Stream dish quality imo has got worse over years most feeds from dish arnt even 1080p usual more in common with 720p and or interlaced image that below 1080p mostly only "premium" PPV/HBO/Starz/etc channels are 1080p or higher, and those are still badly compressed.
