Sounds like your dish is out of alignment. Is anyone else's picture quality poor? There is so much tiling on all channels constantly. Anyone else having this problem?

It's really bad on local chanels out of Lexington, KY. Just continually all the time, clear sunny weather, no clouds.I have a Hopper Duo and don't experience what you are describing.
What TV? Have you tried calibrating SDR settings? It's really bad on local chanels out of Lexington, KY. Just continually all the time, clear sunny weather, no clouds.
?? have you checked your connections to make sure everything's tight

Is it just your local Lexington channels or those as well as the satellite channels. Are your locals OTA using the OTA adapter or Dish provided. It's really bad on local chanels out of Lexington, KY. Just continually all the time, clear sunny weather, no clouds.
Dish provided, signal level in sixties, also does it on other channels including streaming channels. All connections are tight. Is it just your local Lexington channels or those as well as the satellite channels. Are your locals OTA using the OTA adapter or Dish provided.
If both satellite and streaming channels are affected, it sounds like a problem with your receiver. Have you called Dish?Dish provided, signal level in sixties, also does it on other channels including streaming channels. All connections are tight.
My bad, I forgot about the Streaming part.If both satellite and streaming channels are affected, it sounds like a problem with your receiver. Have you called Dish?
Or is it the better Processing being done by the newer TV's ?I recently moved from a 65 inch TV to an 85 inch TV and when I ordered the TV I was fearful of how DISH would look at 85 inches.
Well let me tell you how surprised I was and how good DISH looks on the 85 inch tv. The MPEG 4 encoders have comes a long way over the years and they are able to deliver all these stations looking very good.
People don't know this but DISH is constantly updating and upgrading their encoders to keep giving us a better picture, I know they are not happy saying it looks good enough and always want it to look better.
Probably a little bit of that too. But I remember the time when their MPEG4 was ok. But was dropping a lot of information / picture quality. Things have greatly improved.Or is it the better Processing being done by the newer TV's ?
