Is anyone else's picture quality poor? There is so much tiling on all channels constantly. Anyone else having this problem?

Is it just your local Lexington channels or those as well as the satellite channels. Are your locals OTA using the OTA adapter or Dish provided.
Dish provided, signal level in sixties, also does it on other channels including streaming channels. All connections are tight.

Local channels sometimes get wonky here, too. It is the feed and not your dish. In one case, I compared the dish version to the OTA version and found it was an issue with the TV station itself. That being said, there are times when ALL dish network local feeds pixelate intermittently. Must be a problem in how the local station signal gets to dish.

I recently moved from a 65 inch TV to an 85 inch TV and when I ordered the TV I was fearful of how DISH would look at 85 inches.

Well let me tell you how surprised I was and how good DISH looks on the 85 inch tv. The MPEG 4 encoders have comes a long way over the years and they are able to deliver all these stations looking very good.

People don't know this but DISH is constantly updating and upgrading their encoders to keep giving us a better picture, I know they are not happy saying it looks good enough and always want it to look better.

Or is it the better Processing being done by the newer TV's ?

if it's just your locals. then try e-mailing the stations that are acting up and explain it... as trying to get someone with dish that knows what your talking about might be impossible . send pics of the channels themselves acting up along with your signal levels!!! we are watching dish on a 200 inch screen:).. it might be some kind of connection issue between the station and dish!!!

Probably a little bit of that too. But I remember the time when their MPEG4 was ok. But was dropping a lot of information / picture quality. Things have greatly improved.
what's your thoughts on these new sets??? could you see yourself buying another OLED 🤔. i think the PQ is as good as OLED but with the brightness.. it just makes everything look awesome :). and no burn in issues
