So I'm in the western caribbean looking at the path of matthew, who looks like he's coming over, and I didn't invite him for dinner.

He's going to take a liking to my 3.8m Patriot solid prime focus antennas... yes, 2 of them. I have some 2.4m dishes, which I can easily take down if the storm gets worse. So here's my question.

If this storm steps up to a hurricane, what should I be doing with my dishes OTHER than taking them down. They're too big to remove. They're 4 floors up on the roof. With massive concrete pyramid pads securing them to the roof. I can't find the spec sheet to see the windspeed rating. But I'm thinking:

should I put them in birdbath position?
Maybe drill some holes in them for water to drain?
Maybe chain down the edges to hold from spinning?

What do you think?
Let me know your thoughts? I'm running out of time.

Thanks for the input.
