You going to have to find or purchase the data cable for the birdog 2.5. I think Sadoun has some for sale for less than 5 bucks.

Mine is from Radio Shack and I have the same model meter. Mine works just fine.

I think this is either a meter or battery problem or drivers for the serial to USB cable set-up.

ugh even with the darn cables nothing is working. I just need to find someone that lives close that i can pay to fix it. Anyone in Ohio????

What happens when you turn the meter on with no cords attached? You sure batteries are charged & OK?

I've read of ways to blank out the meter's memory, but need to look for the info.

It will power on when no cords are hooked up

I have the cable and my computer recognizes the cable it as usb-serial ch340 (COM4)
