birdog help

I'm having problems with my Birdog, It turns in and I can scroll through all the functions just fine but when I try to peak the dish it just beeps at 0 like there is no lead connected. Any thoughts would help.

Most likely causes are; bad connectors on coax, bad coax, bad lnb, or bad Birdog. Make certain that the 0 and beeping are on the satellite that you are searching for. You should be looking for the 101 sat. Make sure to look through the different satellite options carefuly. Sometimes there are 2 or 3 101's programmed in there. Do not try to align the dish on the 101 SWM setting unles you are installing a SWM lnb and splitter.
