Birdview?

I spotted a solid Birdview a couple of miles from home and was wondering if I would be able to get most C-band signals with the 8 1/2' dish or should I keep looking for a 10' mesh dish.

I'm using an 8 1/2 ft perforated Birdview and a 10 ft Sami mesh, for me the Birdview way out performs the mesh for C and Ku bands. I'd grab it ASAP.

I have only ever had solid dishes, currently a BV performs great

Stopped and talked to the owner of the Birdview today.

He said he was going to turn it upside down and make something out of it, I assume a gazebo.

I didn't offer him any $ for it but I may go back in a week or two and offer him $50 for it.
