Well, all of my Showtime channels display "Can't find channel". Other stuff like Discovery gives the usual subscription required so it doesn't look like a dish alignment issue.

i may actually sub to showtime from srl. I have enjoyed the movies. HBO and Max on G1 has some crappy movies right now IMO.

I would sub to a whole lot more if they were in HD. I get much better PQ with rabbit ears on the OTA channels.

Yes over, but I do agree with Sergai, no good shows, I think I only watched 2 movies, and I had already seen those, started watching some others then changed the channel because they where just not interesting.
I would sub if there was a better veriety, and just plain better made movies!

Showtime offered little entertainment this weekend for me it was mostly garbage. Years ago Showtime was great, now HBO and Starz buys up all the good movies first and leaves Showtime to weed through the crap. Now we need a HBO & Starz free preview.

That sounds like your 4D is hunting and searching through all SR, FEC to get a lock. Either a dish alignment issue, faulty LNB or servo, bad cable, or receiver problem can cause that if you can't get a digital lock on anything.

It is a no Show-time in our house! I will take it when it is free but a lot of times not much of interest on there. We went the Netflix route and are very happy with the streaming of the shows plus it includes DVD rental. I think they have something like 30,000 to choose from online plus thousands more with the rentals. The picture quality is almost as good as a pizza service but for the $9 a month price we put up with it! Some of the movies are "Showtime on demand" too!

I used to sub to Showtime and TMC, I thought they had the best line up, but I guess it is hard to show good movies if there aren't any good movies being made!!

Hmm that don't happen with the PIZZA* sized systems.. hmmm

* Slimline dish is not a pizza sized dish, is more like PARTY SUB from Subway, yeap!

I get a lock on W5 and locks on other DCII stuff on G0 and C3. Since I get guide updates, also, my alignment can't be that far off and my cabling can't be all that bad. The servo seems to be working OK. Whatever the problem is, I'll figure it out eventually. I was going to put up my new dish this weekend but the weather is going to be lousy (especially high wind gusts).
