On our Dish PVR in the bedroom, I think it is a 310 (not sure right off the bat), anyway, a black box keeps coming up on screen on more than one channel with something like:

Code:
http://www.evertz.com [p:] [n:]

I searched on that name and didn't get anything in posts here that seemed relevant.

If you rewind, the box isn't there.

Maybe you mean a 510.

Mind getting a pic of the screen when it comes up? Seems very odd to me, are you sure it is not one of the interactive things that some commercials have enabled on dish receivers?

definitely not a popup ad. The blackbox took up the whole screen except a frame around the outside edge about an inch or two wide.

Google leads me to this: http://www.evertz.com/support#webTV

Why am I seeing "www.evertz.com" on my TV?

What you are seeing is a test message generated by a broadcaster using our closed captioning equipment. Normally you would never see this message, as it is used for set-up and troubleshooting of a system, and for Web TV information. You are seeing it because your television has been inadvertently set to display the closed captioning Text 2 (T2) channel. Disable closed captioning on your television or switch to another closed captioning channel - either CC1 or CC2 - and this should resolve the problem.

Consult your television manual for instructions on how to accomplish this; in most cases, there will be a Closed Captioning button on your television remote control, or an item in the on-screen setup menu.
