From blu-ray.com

More titles = more sales
Quality of titles = more sales.
Looks like January is another (as usual) a blu month.

U G L Y HD-DVD in January aiin't got no alibi. That is one bad lineup in January and I never even paid attention that the titles I planned on buying in January were all BD.

Universal and Paramount tend to announce at the last minute.

That is an impressive lineup for Blu (many day and dates plus catalog of popular action/scifi/horror franchise). However, there will be a few more on the HD side. Who wants to bet that First Look delays King of California on Blu-Ray (*cough* replication issues) like nearly every independent studio has done. (Girls Gone Wild, Anabolic, even Fox)

Depends what you call quality.... Surely not Mr. Woodcock, Daddy Day Care, etc.etc.etc.

The only title that interests me, and I have on order is 3:10 to Yuma.

P.S. Don't copy from Blu-ray. HIghly inacurrate. There are other titles coming out on HD DVD. These don't interest me either, but they might some.

Looks like Invasion got moved up.

Based on that list I'll be shopping for :

BD-Sunshine, Saw 4, Resident Evil 3, Night of the Werewolf/Vengence of the Zombie, Sister Street Fighter/Sister Street Fighter 2

HD-Zodiac

Not a bad month for Horror/Grindhouse fans like myself (with a new child that may be all I can afford if I'm lucky).

Yes, I'll pass on Daddy Day Care as well. Only 1 of each for me -

3:10 to Yuma in Blu & Zodiac in Red for me. And that's OK, my wallet needs a break from the November & December release schedule, and the BOGO sales. I have a backlog of at least a dozen movies to watch, and January is College Bowl games & NFL playoff season. :hungry:

I forgot about "Die Fledermaus". I will probably buy that one the week after it comes out from warehousedeals. Some 'tard that doesn't know how to update his firmware or freakout that it's an opera and not a Disney cartoon wil return it to Amazon. I can then save $5 on a used copy. :p

If I were purple I would consider The Rock and Man on Fire. This disturbs me greatly because Disney and Fox are the two Blu studios I generally want nothing from. Ironically, I would go purple to get movies from Sony and Lionsgate. They actually believe you can put dramas onto HDM unlike gamer friendly Fox and Disney.

The Rock is a must have title for me, can't wait to see it on Blu-ray.
And here are some of the titles I will definitely pick up next month:
3:10 to Yuma
Resident Evil: Extinction
Mr. Woodcock
The Game Plan
