bouncing the signal

Hello, I was trying to install a direct tv at my girlfriends house but when looked the compass I was dissapointed to find out the there is a tall apartment building obstructing the view of the satellite... I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried capturing a signal bounced of a building or something like that? Just wondering...

Sorry ,But that can't be done. Satellite has about a 1 degree margin of error.

Did you also check the elevation of the signal? It's possible the signal can come in from above the building.
