when i look inside my c-band LNB how should the LNB be mounted at the "0" skew position in relation to the big metal post inside the lnb? (not the probes)

should the big metal post be horizontal? as in, parallel with the ground? or should it be vertical? as in 90 degress standing straight up from the ground? kinda like a flag pole would be?

the LNB is a DMX241

I have the same lnbf. the 0 should be horizontal.(when dish is at zenith) If you have it vertical, no harm, just will have vertical transponders horizontal, and vice versa. ( install the dielectric plate only for circular tp Atlantic sats.)

yeah for some reason **most** of the C-Band only LNB"s the skew is 90 degrees off.
BSC421 (from DMSA)
241 (from WSI)
Geosat C-2 (from SatelliteAV)

all have skew off by 90 degrees

thats what i thought....so the big metal bar/post inside the lnb should be horizontal when the lnb is mounted at the "0" position on the dish?

havent looked inside mine latelly...all I know is "0" skew (0 on the LNB) should be at either 9:00 or 3:00 (if looking like a clock)
