c band roof mount question

Due to local obstructions I need to mount a 10' dish on my garage roof. The roof has a ridge/peak not flat. Is there someplace I can go to find information on doing this?
 
I have not seen this type of configuration. But, I have seen Cband on a high pole going up the side of a house. The pole was pretty substantial (looked like a 6" steel pipe). Do you need it on the roof itself, or could you do it on a pole going up the garage wall?

I wouldn't try this. The wind load will be too great, and I GUARANTEE your roof will rip off in a big wind. As the other person said, get a very long pole, and go from GROUND up the side of your garage. You can use brackets on the side of the pole, up the side of your garage, and screwing into a beam on the inside.
