I understand that cable length is an issue. I have two new RG6 Quad runs to my DirecTV Tivo unit, each of about 90 feet? Is this length a performance issue? Is there a booster that I should be putting in-line?

Any advise would be appreciated?

You should not need a booster at that distance. Anything above 100 feet can be questionable but I have heard of 120 feet lengths without an amplifier in line. If it is a straight shot from your LNB to your receiver you will be okay.

As long as you are using good quality RG-6 wire you could probably go 150-200 ft. or longer, depending on the quality of the line.
