Same cable as Dish?

Switching to DIRECTV from dish network soon, can the same coax cable be used? Thanks

Let some others (with expert advise) reply but if I were to guess ... as long as its RG-6. They can use same cable . They may just need to change the splitter .

You should remove any splitters and replace with directv branded ones like dtv757 mentioned. If you don't need them insert a barrel there.
