Hey I am new here and am hoping someone reads this that knows some information that may be able to help me. I have one line of rg6 coming in to my house which my directv is using. I am needing to hook up internet through comcast also, which also uses rg6 cable. can I run both signals through one rg6 cable and then split them back off once they are inside my house? I am trying to avoid running another rg6 cable into the side of the house and fishing cable isnt any fun. Thanks for any help!

nope, directv runs off low voltage, 13 and 18 volts for different polorazations off the lnb, that's why you can't ever use a splitter for directv, your modem runs off rf, off the 109 ch most likely, you can split that
