I have an HP Media Center PC. Currently I have it hooked up to a Directv receiver. I have a coax cable running from that to another room to a second TV in another room (my computer room). I can watch Directv while working on my computer. I have to go to the other room to change channels, but this setup works for me. One problem is that I can't watch the recorded shows. I know that if I ran component video cables from the Media Center to the other room I could then watch recorded shows also, but the run would be around 50 feet. Questions is can you get cables that length and would the distance be a problem?

Thanks for your help

Yes, I believe you can get 50 ft component cables and even 100 ft component cables.
Must be a rather popular item for front projectors.

I may have mispoke. The cables I need are Composite (the red, Yellow, white) Is there a problem running around 50 feet with these type of cables.

You can make your own cables using some RG6 coax cable (like used with satellite hookup), and RCA connectors, found at Radio Shack.
