Can I use my computers and 211 on the same subnet to watch recorded programs on 722k?

Doing things at a comfortable pace can yield a three times improvement or more. On-the-fly can make no assumptions and few predictions yet it always has to get the job done in real time. Just being able to know how many objects are to be tracked is a major advantage.

True ... which is why DishOnline.com can probably get the job done ... where as DishonDemand can't. Since Dish On Demand doesn't recompress the stuff they have, to be delivered via mp4 with divx or some other decent enough compression scheme, they put the onness on delivery.

The reasons why Cable's "On Demand" offiering works, is that they have the bandwidth available in their cable pipes ... dish would have to have way more transponders to serve from orbit, or ... would have to go the Hulu / Netflix delivery route.. but then to do that to the TV.... their satelite boxes need to have more horsepower ... and be designed as a "shed", rather than a single tool in it.
