Hi all I live in canada and recently bought a direct tv system through ebay, I am brand new to the satelite game, I am totaly lost I hooked everything up properly i believe i bought the start up kit from my future shop all I get on the screen is Searching for sattalite signal, How do I go about finding a signal?

You have to go through the menu scrren to pull up the screen with the signal strength. You then will have to peak the dish. The sat will be very close to Expressvu's 91.

I am always shocked to hear that Canadians would want TV from the US because it's more expensive than EV.

Thanks The Box didnt come with a remote is there any way to access that screen without one?

Have you called DirecTV to ask about your subscription? What did they say?
