Do the math….they allow you to pay it in 8 installments. The amount is the same if you make it in one payment or split it up to 8 payments

Keep in mind if your looking for NFL games, you Can get Just the Sunday Ticket from You tube with out the TV package again ... I haven't checked prices on that, though.

Just pointed out the current prices ... they have changed .... a few months ago, when I signed up they were different.
You get many variable pricing points now days

I actually think that the current deal is Less than I signed up for, but would have to look into it to confirm.

I remember when DTV got ST (in the 90s if memory serves) and they just couldn't activate subscriptions quick enough.

Netflix for the Christmas games. Peacock and ESPN+ also have some national exclusives.

This season you can go all D2C with Paramount+ (CBS), Fox One, Peacock (Sunday Night Football) and ESPN Unlimited (Monday Night Football). Before if you didn't have OTA reception, whatever games your local FOX affiliate aired required a pay TV login to watch on TV.

And what does all that cost the avg person now ?
Keep in mind, unless your a KC (or Philly) fan, you still don't necessarily get your favorite team with that set up.

They may still know if its a residence that previously had it, they would have your address or your IP address regardless.
They will know if you had it the previous season, or ever I guess.

The Next year, I got it as part of the YTTV package, no New Customer discount, even though I was New to YTTV.

I'm sure you can get away with it from time to time with some services ....

When they say you get the best rate if your are NEW (this is the NFL) they Mean it.

They didn't give it to me, when I was new, I used a different service.
I have had the ST for 25+ years now, no New Deals for me ... regardless of email.

Like I said, all they have to do is an IP check, they would know, if they want to be picky enough ....

If I change my Netflix email, that doesn't allow me to get a better deal, they use your IP address, they Know where your at.

You sure about that? I had the WWE programming on there for 3 months free just by creating a new email address and got 30 days free.

Well, I would presume thats how they know if your Sharing your account with others ...

Ever since they did thier Crack down ... its really not very hard (if they want to actually do it, I'm expecting others to do it eventually as well) to see where the stream is being used at.

Had to cancel satellite service due to cost and lack of NFL football this year. Would get DIRECTV again if they brought back the original satellite experience as the app always crashed.

Will miss some of the channels but the cost was too high! The CSR didn't even try to give me any options and overall very good experience.

I understand. My renewal with DTV Satellite is in January 2026 with $45 dollar promotion. I have been with them for a lot of years. It will be interesting if they will continue to give me the Promotion or not.

We have the option to switch to TDS fiber, as a new customer, with price for 2 years. Their programing/channel list + regional sports are a little cheaper. We also have Spectrum, which I would not even consider, except their Internet. Right now, I have ATT/DTV internet with an additional $35.00 promotion or $40mo for DSL 100 Mbps.

So, will see if DTV will have a promotion, when I call next January. We really like Satellite over the years. With new owners, will see what happens. Sometimes, you have to call them a couple times, to get the right rep to work with you.
