Can't access hard drive in Ultra

Setup says it's there but I can't access it from Movie or File Manager. Rebooting didn't help. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

If you are going to watch the program you recorded, you would have to go Menu/Recorded program and click on the program. That's the only way I can do this. I never understand the file manager or Movie. Maybe one of the other Ultra owners can shine the light on this.

Quite correct, any of the other formats (Movie, Music, Photo, etc.) are basically for files that you have FTPed to the hard drive. As you note, Menu/Recorded is the only way to play recorded programs, although you can see them listed in Movie or File Manager, they won't play from there.

Is there any way to ftp recorded content from the azbox to a pc for later playback? I'm sure there is I just havent looked into it yet.

To answer my own post, yes you can! Using MAZ helps out!
