having trouble finding amc4 and 18,found galaxy 16 and amc 1 with no trouble. tried entering transponders manually but still no luck. using fortec ultra,10 ft. mesh dish with california lnb. i want to thank everybody who has helped me since i started posting,your info has been greatly appreciated.
can't find satellites

What I do is go to LyngSat, find some clear FRs, enter them into my Traxis, then go to the satellite closest to the one I am looking for, then start bumping the dish east or west, depending on which way you have to go until you signal gets strong then I hit the scan button. I've used this method for quite a while and it works pretty good......at least for me.
