I'm in Oregon and am in the low 60s on a 24". Time to point my 30" to it.

For comparison I have a 24" pointed at 110 (mid 80s) and a 24" pointed at 119 (mid 70s)

DISH1000s are for sissy's :D

actually the uplink reports just showed them moving stuff around on e-5 , i believe digiblur had already updated the program to distingush between 5 and ceil-2 .

my guess is they are shifting the feeds to the san transponder on e-5 in prep for the move to ciel-2...

I'll believe it is on ciel-2 when the tables get updated to show them on ciel-2

He added the Ciel-2 spot TIDs, but probably no the CONUS TIDs, which are probably recycled. I have little doubt Ciel-2 is partially powered up.

It keeps telling me that my stuff has been switched and I need to go to help. Then it says I need to reaim my dish. What all stuff should i be selecting

I was just asking my wife via phone (I am at work) to check our Dish Network HD Receiver, she tells me that the satellites listed there are 110, 119, and 129. I was surprised at this because we live in the metro area of Atlanta, GA and I figured that 129 would really only service the West Coast of the US. I'm not complaining, believe me!

Once in a great while we can get some channels, but not all of them for a period of time. Does anyone have an idea of how they balance the loads of these satellites? I suppose that one sat carries some channels and another carries other channels, and the Atlanta local channels would be "spot beamed?"

Is there a link or thread in this forum that gives the breakdown of which channels are carried on which satellite? Any extra information would be great.

Pull the power plug for 15 seconds. Plug it back in and let it reboot and reload.
