Center Ice Questions

First year having Center Ice on D*. A few quetions for anyone who can answer:

1. Why are some NHL channels in the guide dim and other highlighted? You cann see this any time in the guide, including game times.

2. Why are there sometime 3 channels showing the same game?

I'd like to remove from my favs anything irrelevant. I'm hoping this info wil lhelp.

Darren, my first year with CI too

1. It will be fixed in the next day or so. The authorizations are spotty up until the package starts, same with MLB, NFL, NBA.

2. Home, Away, Canadian (many canadian broadcast of two US teams)

3. Removing some from fav's may be tough, not all games will have an HD feed, so you can't go with just the -1's. Games will move around every day, just like MLB does.

Example, I can view channel 769, even though it is grey-ed out in my guide.

where are the hd games?

Versus game starts in 10 minutes no HD??

The online guide isn't accurate on HD yet.

Unless Versus/Golf is wrong in guide, the opener games will be SD only. Terrible when they have Ladies Golf in SD on the HD channel, and no HD Hockey.

The only HD tonight is the Ducks/Sharks at 10:30. The other games are on Versus, or Canadian only (which D* mostly has just SD feeds up for us).

As for Canadian feeds, I think we get Rogers in HD (BlueJays / Maple Leafs) and this year HNIC on CBC will be HD on NHL Network, for the first time - a big win.

I'm sure most of you have seen this by now, but the VS game IS in HD now on the -1 channel.
