Channel List Display Options

So far impressed with this box, but I have not had time to go through everything like I want to, will have Friday off for that.

but
• I would like a bigger list of channels when I am watching something and hit ok to look at channels. Maybe can have an option for 2 or 3 columns in menu. I would prefer 3 columns myself.

The other Geosats have the short list like that and if you hit red button it gives you a full screen list of channels

But comparing the menus of the other Geosats and the Micro is like comparing the Coolsat 4/5/6000 to the 8000
(same father....different mother so menus are different)

Yep full screen would be so much better.

I HATE three columns for the channels. They did that on the latter Openbox FW versions, all were usless to me because it truncates the channel names to an un-readable state.

An example from 103 Ku

1 Ch11 NBC Mountain
2 Ch12 NBC West HD
8 Ch09 NBC East HD
9 Ch10 NBC Central

becomes.....

1 Ch11 NBC
2 Ch12 NBC
8 Ch09 NBC
9 Ch10 NBC

Pixl I dont mind the OPTION for either the list or the full screen

Like I say the other Geosats do the little list like this one does (except smaller). Red button toggles between a 10 channel one column list and a 3 column list

That would be fine if it is optional or selectable.
This was not an option on the legacy ALi Openbox.

We will investigate adding a Channel List viewing option of displying multiple columns in addition to the simple single column.
