Channelmaster help

Hi, So I'm trying to decide between the larger channel master antenna 3671 and the smaller 3679 to be mounted in the attic for TV reception. Which is better- to mount the larger one only in one place up there, or to be able to have some room to spin the smaller one then mount it in one place?
