Happy New Year from your friends here at SatelliteGuys.US!
I haven't watched Charlie Chat in about two years and tuned in tonight to see that my local market, Shreveport, LA, is finally getting HD. I'm in shock as I have "moved" from Tennessee to Georgia to Texas in my years with DISH. And they said you can't ever go home again, lol! :)

I called exactly when they posted the number on the screen. My question, "Why were the recent 9 national HD channels released 3 weeks ago not put on 61.5 satellite?"

They patched me through a few times, then I stayed on hold for 30 minutes and a guy comes on and say, Sorry, we don't have anymore room for your question tonight.

What do you people think I did next?

You mean April Fools right?:D

More like Charlie Fools day. He didn't even know the nine hd channels that were launched Feb. 10 had been launched!!

I hear Charlie say the number one question he gets is "when are more hd channels going to launched."

and he is the one driving the Dish bus!!

I really REALLY wanted to tell him off! I'm blamming him because his employees need to be educated on that company's technology. The Customer should not be the SMARTER one! To this day, I have yet to find a tech or a call staff that knows that they released 9 new HD channels or where they were released! I mean, COME the heck on! Then that wasn't just it.... I had about 20 people tell me that 129 and 61.5 are not compatible when they are together! Then how to actually hookup each feed into the switch when the switch itself shows you which feeds go where! I had stories, after stories, after stories. It wasn't just one thing, it was an entire list!

NEW HD/CH in april?
